Position Summary:

Responsible for developing a strategic vison with solid execution plan to grow business in India, overseeing daily operation management, maintaining government and respective agency’s relationship.

Key Responsibility

1)   Lead the commercial and operations organization consisting of regional sales, distributor management, application engineering and operation teams to achieve consistent growth and the annual sales target.
2)  Conduct market assessment to identify and prioritize potential markets/customers.
3)  Harvest and hunt via value selling and value engineering - install and drive robust processes to manage existing business AND add new business.
4)  Develop strong customer relationships with all levels including the senior level of key strategic accounts.
5)  Develop accurate bookings and sales forecasts.
6)  Ensure that the account receivables (AR/DSO) are kept on or below the level defined by the payment terms in the commercial agreement.
7)  Coach talent and develop the sales organization into a metric and process driven team with repeatable best practices.
8)  Maintain a strong relationship with all functions to support the relentless drive for growth and sales strategy execution.
9)  Develop a 1,3, 5 years’ growth plan, refresh annually.

Requirements:

1)   Bachelor’s degree or above, mechanical engineering and oversea education preferred.
2)  15+ years of successful track record in Sales & Operation with 8+ year in senior leaders’ role.
3)  Experience selling to consumer electronics, datacom, automotive, EVs, solar industries directly and via distributors.
4)  Experience in managing technical selling / design-in with technical aptitude.
5)  Senior position but hands-on and willing to work extended hours
6)  Strategic and operational thinking, financial acumen as Data driver
7)  Self-motivated, eager to achieve goals, target oriented management style that balances both the achievement of strategic long-term goals with short term target achievement.
8)  Professional skill on MS office and English skill both written and oral.
9)  Executive presence with Entrepreneur habit, self-confident, humble and able to handle pressure.
10)  High intellect with loyalty track record, international perspective
11)  Good interpersonal communication skill to talk to people on all hierarchy levels; able to build relationships to influence decision making and manage conflict.
12)  Willingness to travel intensively.
13)  Must have impeccable integrity - being transparent with both good and bad news.
