Position Summary:
Penn Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Project Manager responsible for supporting and managing projects across the digital platform ecosystem. This role supports execution, coordination and stakeholder communication to help ensure initiatives are delivered on time within scope and aligned with business and IT priorities. The role contributes to PMO governance and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of defined projects across digital platforms and enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate across business, IT, and vendor teams to support successful project execution.
- Track and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations with guidance from senior leaders.
- Support governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communication at the project level.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements, delivery scope, and project outcomes.
- Execute projects using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate.
- Assist with resource coordination and workload tracking across assigned initiatives.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to process and change management standards.
- Facilitate project meetings, delivery reviews, and milestone checkpoints.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and PMO standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional and offshore teams where applicable.
- Support roadmap planning activities and assist with execution tracking.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, program coordination, or enterprise delivery roles.
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives involving technology and business teams.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, dependencies, and stakeholder needs concurrently.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with IT governance, PMO standards, and change management practices.
- Ability to track risks, priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations with guidance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to digital platforms, enterprise applications, cloud initiatives, or data-driven programs
- Basic familiarity with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, or modern enterprise technologies
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed, or multi-vendor project environments
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), CAPM, PMP, or similar project management certification
- Experience supporting operational improvement or digital transformation initiatives
