Job Title: Salesforce Developer/Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India

Position Summary:

Penn Engineering is seeking a talented Salesforce Developer with expertise in Apex, LWC, Salesforce Clouds, and API integrations (OIC preferred) to build scalable, secure solutions, manage deployments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business applications.

Key Responsibility:

• Design, develop and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud and Experience Cloud (Revenue Cloud a plus).
• Build rich, interactive user experiences using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Dynamic Forms, and Visualforce.
• Develop custom logic with Apex, Triggers, Batch and Schedulable Apex, Flows, and approval processes within Salesforce Governor Limits.
• Write test classes and methods to ensure maximum code coverage for deployments.
• Design and implement REST and SOAP API integrations using OIC(Oracle Integration Cloud) as a middleware to enable real-time data exchange with external systems.
• Expertise in Salesforce security models like profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and data access controls to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Manage deployments and version control via Change Sets, GitHub, VS Code, and DevOps Centre across regular release cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years building on the Salesforce platform: Lightning (LWC & Aura), Apex, Visualforce, and Dynamic Forms.
• Hands-on with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Manufacturing cloud.
• Experience with FSL (Field Service Lightning) is an advantage.
• Experience in creating different types flows by adhering to Salesforce best practices.
• Expertise in the Salesforce security model and in building REST and SOAP API integrations
• Strong SOQL/SOSL querying and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML).
• Version control and CI/CD practices; Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Hands on experience with DevOps centre

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, and Experience Cloud (Revenue Cloud is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce Flows.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations.
• Knowledge of Git, VS Code, Salesforce DevOps Center, and CI/CD practices.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.

Key Competencies:

• Salesforce Development: Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Visualforce to build scalable solutions.
• Integration & Security: Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Salesforce security best practices.
• DevOps & Deployment: Experience with Git, VS Code, DevOps Center, Change Sets, and CI/CD release management.
• Collaboration & Problem Solving: Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills in Agile environments.

Certifications:

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PD1) & Administrator — Required.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PDII) — Preferred.
• Salesforce Certified AI Associate and Agent force Specialist is a plus.
