Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Position Summary:

This position is part of the Corporate Global Information Systems team and is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s global IT infrastructure. Although based in India, this
role functions as a corporate infrastructure resource supporting systems and projects across all company locations.

This is a hands-on technical role providing second and third level support for enterprise infrastructure systems including network infrastructure, virtualization platforms, server environments, and cloud services. The position works closely with the global infrastructure team to troubleshoot complex issues, maintain reliable infrastructure operations, and participate in infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibility:

• Provide second and third level support for infrastructure related incidents and service requests.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and network related issues.
• Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including switching, routing, and connectivity between global locations.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and site to site network connectivity issues.
• Monitor infrastructure systems and respond to alerts, outages, and performance issues.
• Support VMware virtualization infrastructure including host administration and virtual machine operations.
• Support Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and identity management.
• Assist with administration and troubleshooting of cloud platforms including Azure and AWS.
• Participate in infrastructure projects including network improvements, server upgrades, and cloud initiatives.
• Work with Global IS team members to maintain consistent infrastructure standards across locations.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and service providers for infrastructure related support.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation including network diagrams, system procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Provide after hours support as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 7+ years experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across networking and infrastructure systems.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing.
• Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Experience administering VMware virtualization environments.
• Experience supporting Windows Server infrastructure including Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills required, with the ability to clearly communicate technical issues and participate in live troubleshooting calls with global engineering teams.
• Flexibility to attend meetings that overlap with US Eastern time zone business hours.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills working with global teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise networking platforms such as Extreme Networks is a plus but not required.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and enterprise security best practices.
• Experience supporting global enterprise environments across multiple geographic locations.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• ITIL certification or experience working within an IT service management framework.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field desirable.
