Lead and execute demand creation that will lead to incremental sales and specifications for the PEM® brand of self-clinching fasteners within the Automotive Electronics and EV Charging segments in Germany. Working closely with the customer, providing expertise in PEM® brand of self-clinching fasteners both at the design concept stage and in full production. Promotion and Introduction of New Products is a key focus, as is leading with our system-sell approach to focus on productivity solutions via our Installation Solutions Division. Provide project management, final Bill of Material quotations and follow up meetings to generate incremental business. Obtain and report project information, using the Salesforce CRM system. Work closely with senior management and where appropriate third-party logistics / distributors on strategically important accounts and complex logistical projects.
Ensuring that growth of sales meets and exceeds agreed target related performance requirements.
o Emphasis on developing incremental business via new product applications from both existing and new Automotive Electronics / EV Charging related targets, utilizing internal leads and own market research.
o Obtain specifications for PEM® products at Automotive Electronics / EV Charging accounts.
o Sell value added services including the promotion of Haeger & IN-DIE installation equipment to support the sale of PEM® self-clinching fasteners.
o Develop relationships at Key OEMs to maintain a product promotional presence; work closely with customers with design authority / influence to secure new application opportunities for PEM Brand product.
o Develop a comprehensive Automotive Electronics / EV Charging market plan with a focus on overall market analysis, industry trends, competitor activity, understanding the OEM supply chain.
o Set up KAP's for "strategic accounts" with actions, dates and responsibilities
o Liaise with the distributor network as necessary to support the growth of PEM® products.
o To prepare monthly territory reports specifically updating progress on key Projects.
o Maintain customer, activity and opportunity information on the CRM system.
o To prepare Territory and Industry reviews for sales meetings.
o Work closely with internal sales contact and other key departments to ensure that that company strategies and objectives are achieved.
o The upkeep of company property - files, expense records, company vehicle, laptop, mobile telephone and other communication devices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field preferred, or equivalent tangible experience.
- Minimum one year of experience in Business Development, sales or application engineering.
- Solid leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and influencing capabilities.
- CRM proficient. Ability to perform business analysis
- Visual acuity for detailed work.
- Fluent in English and German language.
- Availability to travel overseas and extensively within the territory when required.
- Have a valid EU driving license.
